Anchored with the lack of preparation among teachers during the shifting of learning environment from the traditional to virtual is also the lack of digital skills which is highly essential in the online mode of teaching. As a response YABONG, together with partnered organizations, provided assistance and expertise through launching an online capacity-building workshop entitled E-Revolution for school teachers last July 3, 2020.
E-Revolution ran through a four-step process which includes (1) Online E-Survey, (2) E-Revolution Course, (3) E-Monitoring and E-Valuation, and (4) E-Replicate. These workshops encapsulate the upskilling of teachers on the basics such as the use of google docs, excel, and others that can supplement their learning delivery to the students.
This initiative was spearheaded by Indo-Pacific Navigators and ASEAN Abundance Innovation Lab with partnered schools and organizations, Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative- Davao Hub, United States Government Alumni Association - Davao, Project Mariknows, Project Dyesabel, and School of Education of Ateneo de Davao University.
