In an inspiring initiative to bridge the digital skills gap, YABONG Philippines and Foras collaborated to host DIGIconomy 2025 on February 15-16. The workshop aimed to equip young Palestinians with essential digital skills, providing them with opportunities to thrive in an increasingly digital world. With a lineup of expert speakers, including Dun Concha Abiera, Ena Marie Avila, Hans Joseph Tulayan, Kate Kamid, and Ferville Grace Tripoli, participants engaged in hands-on training on digital marketing, branding, content creation, and client acquisition—empowering them to build sustainable online careers.
Throughout the two-day event, industry professionals shared their expertise in digital marketing strategies, branding essentials, and content creation techniques. Kate Kamid of Work Beyond Borders introduced attendees to influencer marketing and effective digital strategies, while Ena Marie Avila and Hans Joseph Tulayan guided participants through branding and graphic design. Ferville Grace Tripoli provided insights on content creation, social media engagement, and storytelling, and Dun Concha Abiera, Founder and Managing Director of YABONG Philippines, led a session on client acquisition, offering actionable strategies for securing opportunities in the digital space.
Beyond technical skills, DIGIconomy 2025 fostered confidence, creativity, and ambition among participants, many of whom expressed newfound inspiration for digital entrepreneurship.
