JULY 21, 2019-- With the vision of inspiring the youth across the country to engage in governance and nation-building, YABONG has successfully launched in Maguindanao-Cotabato under the initiative of YABONG MagCot team through the Beating the Stigma (BeST) Camp last July 20, 2019 held at the American Corner, Notre Dame University, Cotabato City.Add paragraph text here.
The camp’s goals include engaging student leaders, SK members and advocates of youth-led organizations from Cotabato City, North Cotabato and Maguindanao in conversation about HIV/AIDS with Ms. Mykha Lintongan of Cotabato Sanitarium Hospital. The participants have also discussed their roles as agents in preventing the escalating prevalence of HIV/AIDS. With the effective discussion and interactive activities, the participants have innovated collaborative awareness campaign ideas as continuation of the Beating the Stigma Campaign.
